Looking for help

so i just picked up a 87 2wd 5spd 4L came with 30s monroe shocks doesnt look lifted, no rust. the thing is i have no clue about trucks :cry: and i want to make this truck trail worthy and 4x4. so I'm looking for help if anyone is located in california near san jose (norcal) let me know. i don't have a lot of free time to work on the truck and thats the main reason I'm looking for help..

id help but the kid and work don't offer up much time to even wrench on my own junk but will offer my help/advice as best i can .
