Manche757 Posted May 26, 2023 Posted May 26, 2023 I moved 2600 miles and left two MJs behind with a friend until I decide if I am going to sell them. NW Montana is not vehicle friendly. The friend was driving the 89 MJ, 4.0, 5 speed. As he was turning onto a different road, he heard a noise and then a pop. The gas Guage didn't work after that. The engine continues to run ok. The fuel pump was replaced a couple of years ago. Does anyone have any ideas what happened?
