Brakes

4.0 swap and thought I was all finished, went to take her on first drive but no brakes, bleed all the lines and re checked vacuum hoses, still nothing. Changed out booster, nothing. Press on pedal and goes all the way down and have a hissing noise when I press pedal, any idea’s?

Were the calipers removed and put back on during the swap? Check to see if you accidentally swapped calipers as there is a right one and a left one. Is the Brake Warning light on?

Hissing sound = vacuum leak.

 

Check all hoses. Try to isolate the location of the hissing sound.

+1 on vacuum issue.  As you know the vacuum lines in these things do tend to dry rot and fall apart

If you pump the brakes with the motor off does it build pressure?
