Transmission Pilot Bearing Installed Crooked

I thought it was straight before taking the first swing. Tried to take a dowel and only hit the side that's stuck out more but no luck.

 

What is the best way to correct this? Do I just need to buy a puller and try to remove/start over? Not doing bread because it took 2 weeks for the bearing to get here and I really don't want to wait another two weeks for a new one just because I used bread...

Buy or borrow a puller -- and an installer.

Thanks. Ran to AutoZone and rented a puller. I have a bearing installer kit already. Just user error.
