To me to build it right.. I would go al ford.. Find a 78-79 f250.. they have NP435/np205 combo... Use the axles as well... the front is just about a bolt in.. need to do high steer on the knuckles.. but they can machine those. The rear relocate the spring perches.. I know they say you have to relocate the gas tank.. but I know someone who did just what I described.. and he didnt. Build an anti-wrap bar for the rear.. and do a shackle reversal upfront.. if not.. your leafs will not last if you wheel hard

thanks guys. if I get this thing though, it would be a cheap-a$$ build. I'd build it easy first, and upgrade later on if I feel the need.

That would be an easy build... I bought and stripped a 79f250 for 200 bucks last summer.. had all the above minus the engine :nuts:

lol. yeah, BUT I don't have time for that kinda custom fab...I already know jeep systems pretty well and will probably just dump a HO motor in this and drop a dana 44 rear in and go
