Fuel Tank Vent Hoses

Recommended Posts

I am replacing the old rusted fuel tank in my 1990 truck and silly me I did not note how the vent hoses were routed. Although I am not sure they were correct when I dropped the tank as one of the lines was squashed for about a foot. The tank must have been dropped sometime in the past and the hoses incorrectly installed. Does any one have a photo or can describe how they are routed ?

On another note, does anyone know of a source for or an alternative for the hose which connects the plastic vent pipe from the

air intake to the vapor cannister. The hose is different sizes on each end and L-shaped

Thanks

The two roll over vent valves on the top of the tank connect to a T that goes to the charcoal canister. So what matters is just the length of the hose to which ever valve.

As for that hose from the canister to the air box, from my search that hose is tough to find and you might have to make something fit or if there’s a business that can custom make hoses near you, they might be able to help. Otherwise it’s a Mopar only part that is discontinued.
