I’ve had the truck for about a year, bought it with plans to fix it up and have done a lot of work on it while I’ve owned. I drove it 7 hours home when I bought it, and I regularly drive it down to work, which is 100 mile round trip without issues. About the truck: 1989 Jeep Comanche 4.0 liter, 6 cylinder 2 wheel drive 5 speed, manual transmission Runs like a top, almost rust free, no accidents, lower mileage, rare The good: - new battery - New front end suspension (upper control arms, upper control arm bushings on axle, lower control arms, track bar, ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar, sway bar end links, shocks, coil springs, steering damper) - new tires - new front brakes (pads, rotors, including wheel bearings) - new windshield, including trim - new catalytic converter - converted to open cooling system - new engine & transmission mounts - new vacuum harness - new ignition system (spark plugs, distributor, rotor, plug wires) - new clutch master cylinder - new rear bumper - upgraded gauge cluster - all records of my own work & shop work done since I've owned the truck The bad - small rust hole near driver floorboard / firewall - Sometimes have to pump the clutch to engage it - small dings & paint chips I have extra parts that I would send with the truck, which includes 3x gauge clusters, various interior HVAC hoses, assorted interior bits, headlight harness upgrade (K-suspension), and more. Also, I have all the records of the work that I have performed, as well as the limited amount of work performed by shops. I have receipts and a spreadsheet detailing mileage and dates of when work was done. There is more work completed then is listed, notably the Cruiser54 checklist and various electrical debugging.
