How do you remove 35 years worth of mildew?

Picked up some bucket seats from a Cherokee but the vinyl parts are covered in black mildew. Any suggestions on how to clean it without damaging the cloth part of the seats, which are in very good condition? Thanks all.

power washer and tons of sunshine.  or pull the covers off the foam, then power wash and tons of sunshine.
