4.0 fuel?

so i bought this 89 comanceh and it was running but now i have a problem...when i took it to get a tune up we did the fuel system an deverything to be running ok. now when i go to start it all it does is turn over. maybe....sometimes it will start but only for a second cause i can't get it to stay started. previously before i owned the truck it had been sitting for 9 months. could it be bad fuel or bad injectors maybe? i want to sell it and i would like to know what is wrong with it before i do. its bugging me alot. any help would be apriciated.

If you are using whatever fuel was in the tank from the time it was sitting, then I would say you need to drain it and get some good stuff in there. Gas starts going bad after just 3-4 weeks and can be unuseable after just 2-3 months in some cases.

 

Get some fresh gas and run some injector cleaner through it to start with.
