ExpatMJGuy
1988, Jeep, Comanche. Image, if available 4.0 inline 6 / Peugeot BA10/5 / 2wd Build date: Unknown, it's been painted over. I'd like to know myself. Current Location: Buford, GA Status: Actively driven headed for restoration pending arrival of some final parts, 4wd conversion, 99XJ driveline has already been acquired for restoration. Shipment to Sydney Australia is pending my family's permanent visa approval by the Australian government. Notes: The exterior was red before being sanded down for paint. The previous owner then lost time and interest and just put cheap primer on the vehicle to prevent rust. It currently has a grey interior with the standard bench seat. A bucket and console conversion will also take place as part of the future restoration. Current owner: I'm the current owner purchasing it today 26Nov2021

ExpatMJGuy
I’m surprised to see the build date so late in 1988. You would think they would have started making 89s by this point. Still works for me! Importation rules for left hand drive in Australia with the least amount of paperwork is 1/1/1989!

Thanks for the catch. I must’ve double typed a 1. It was built in January.
