Liam devlin
I just changed my fuel injectors because they were purging fuel into my oil I change my oil also new oil new fuel injectors and now my oil pressure is spiked out Oil pressure runs between 60 and 80 at idle at about 600 RPM
89 MJ
Is the engine warm or cold when making that much oil pressure? If that is on a cold start, I wouldn't be concerned.

It is on a coldstart that it does that and the temperature is been about 30° 35° here and it gets up to about anywhere from 58 to 70 during the day

89 MJ
Just now, Liam devlin said: It is on a coldstart that it does that and the temperature is been about 30° 35° here and it gets up to about anywhere from 58 to 70 during the day You should be fine then. Most engines make more oil pressure cold than they do warm. What did the oil pressure look like before you did the work on it? What were outside temps then? I'd let the truck warm up for 5 minutes and then check the oil pressure. Also, you may want to add a signature with details about your truck. There is a video posted in the issues/ideas/testing section of the forum.
Eagle
The factory oil pressure spec is for when the engine is at operating temperature. The spec is 13 psi minimum at idle, and 37 to 75 above 1600 RPM. As a rule, most of the 4.0L engines I've driven seem to run between 50 and 55 psi at 2,000 RPM. What weight oil do you run? Heavier oil will make higher oil pressure, especially when cold.
