NHMJXJ
https://vermont.craigslist.org/pts/d/williston-dana-44-rear-axle/7190145094.html As the title says, rear Dana 44 from I believe a IH Scout II. Not certain of that. I pulled it from a Jeep Comanche project I bought that clearly had axle swaps done. Perhaps this is an original rear Dana 44 to a Metric Ton Comanche and they had done a SOA swap but I have not been able to ID this axle exactly. This is not an OEM axle to my Comanche however; not according to the VIN. Maybe you know something I don't and we can piece it together! Ring and pinion, spider and side gears all look good. Counted 43/13 teeth for a 3.31 gear ratio. WMS to WMS measures 56''. Wheel stud pattern is 5 x 5.5. Also has tapered axle tubes near the WMS. I have a sandblaster if you'd like it blasted before you weld new spring mounts or trussing for your build and swap. # 4 OH six - TOO 6 O - O seven sixxx ZEROW
500 MJ
Stock Jeep MJ would have had the 5x4.5 bolt pattern. Definitely not from an MJ. Nice axle though! GLWS!
