what the rim width for a stock mj

Forgive me for my ignorance, but where can I find the rim width on the stock 88 Comanche rim?

 

 I have a buddy that is giving me some 31x10.5 tires.

that particular rim isn't stock MJ.  kinda looks like a 15x8 wrangler Gambler.  are you asking about it or about what you have now?

About the stock rim. He is keeping the aftermarket rims, just giving me the tires.

most MJ rims are 15x7.  one steel rimis 15x6.

31x10.5 are frequently put onto the 15x7s

Well I left the tires on his rims and threw them on for now. Looks like I may need to adjust the passenger side steering stop, but otherwise the fit.

if they are rubbing on the arms, look into WJ lower control arms.   they have a bend in them for tire clearance.

you just need to trim the steel bushing flush with the rubber.
