comanchefest
Welp, it finally happened. Some dirtbag tried to take my truck. They used a pair of scissors and jammed them into the drivers side door lock and ignition, braking it off in the ignition. So I'm going to replace all the locks. NAPA doesn't have the door lock, and like last time I posted you guys were very helpful with finding the glove box lock. So where can I get new door locks? Is this another Chevy part? Thank you, this happened during the day yesterday... in a neighborhood, while we me and my neighbors were working from home. I'm super surprised they didnt get into my UNLOCKED 2014 F150 and take the $3000 MSI gaming laptop that was sitting on the back seat... f*cking idiots. eaglescout526
Last time I replaced my lock cylinders I found the right ones through team Cherokee. Chrysler still has lock cylinders available but they come dissembled and not coded I think.
comanchefest
Yep, there it is. Thank you! I'm going to install a keyless entry/alarm kit, any suggestions on where to get this? I need the door lock actuators too. I installed just the keyless on my van last week, then left that unlocked, so they got in there too...

I'm probably going to research this route myself as I got a NOS keyless entry bezel that I might be able to hide a little module in for keyless. Someone might have a suggestion. boxyjeep
I went with this Remote Start/Keyless Entry module in my '88 with 97+ doors. Pretty easy to install and setup. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O2EGYDM/ For the lock cylinders, if they aren't broken I'd just use the same ones and possibly reinforce the slotted opening in the door with some thicker steel. I have a good ignition cylinder and key, which I'm planning to match in my door locks. I snagged a handful of them from Jeeps the last time I was at the junkyard and plan on scavenging enough pins to re-key them to match.
comanchefest
Cherokee locks for the doors do not match. The parts store couldn't figure out what would match what came out of the Comanche. Any ideas?

eaglescout526
Auto stores carry the later years like 91+. Ive never found the old ones except team Cherokee.
