ComancheMadness Posted May 28, 2020 Share Posted May 28, 2020 Ive got my hands on a couple of comanches thats are 4wd what parts do i need to do a 4wd conversion on my 88 jeep comanche 4.0 v6 pioneer 2wd, thanks again guys for yalls feedback, can't wait to post the project on here ! Smokeyyank Posted May 28, 2020 Share Posted May 28, 2020 Tranny, t case, front axle and few other things (cross members, shifter, etc). Axles best years are 98-99 because of non cad, better u joints and 29 spline 8.25 (if you swap the rear which i would because of the turdy5). Tranny ax15 is going to be the best bet but more expensive and sometimes a little tougher to find ax5 works as well. Tcase either a 231 or 242.
