prcov
Hello all! What a great forum this is! Very helpful indeed for someone like me that is a Novice behind the wrench but learning.... So my 1986 Jeep Comanche Custom V6 Exhaust downpipe (which is a Y shape) has rotted and I sound like a Harley driving around town (enough that a cop even commented I need to fix it thankfully without a ticket)... I replaced from the Cat and back last Fall.... then over the winter this pipe decided to go.... I searched this forum and saw Walker #40401 and AP #94908 as replacements on posts from 2007 and 2015... but both companies don't even make them at all anymore and I can find anyone who still has one laying around in a back room anymore. There also aren't any Comanches in any junk yards around me.... Wondering, other than having one made for me, if there were any alternatives for a novice? Maybe someone has one laying around they don't need anymore?
coheed
I have heard the S10 2.8 Y pipe works, not sure you can get those new either. Probably your best bet for new is a local exhaust shop, or grab one off a S10 at a junkyard for something used.
dasbulliwagen
A whole header and Y pipe kit might be an option. https://www.jegs.com/i/Pace+Setter/766/70-1208/10002/-1?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI1JKnto7D6QIVAsDICh3z1QBbEAQYASABEgK6GPD_BwE
