1988 JEEP COMANCHE

4.0L I6

Trans BA10/5

Build date:   Not sure. The sticker on the inside of the driver door is in poor shape.

Current Location:  A small shore town near Asbury Park, NJ

Status: Currently runs, engine bay is a mess, body has severe rust damage but frame is not bad. Parked in the street awaiting the DMV to open up post pandemic.

Notes: It is a red Comanche with gray interior. The seats are bucket seats from 2001 Honda CRV. The day I brought it home I had to drive with a zip tie holding the hood down. The hood release cable was broken and the mechanism to close the hood was rusted so bad (definitely why the cable was broken) that the hood would not close. There is random body damage on it but nothing extreme, just some minor dents. The worst damage is probably on the hood which the PO told me as I drove away with it that it fully opened on them once on the highway :applause:

And now a picture of it on the day I brought it home
