JOMJ87
Thats the hardest to get to IMO. you may even have to pull both sides to drive the new seal in. I replaced mine and its leaking now and wasnt before so now i have to do it all over again. you will have to fully dis-asemble the pass side to get to it. Its at the CAD area on the wheel side. Good luck. Cole
comancheman
am i going to need to pull the whole carrier?
Wildman
am i going to need to pull the whole carrier? No, but you need to pull the cover, there's a "C" clip that holds the intermettent shaft in place, you do need to pull the carrier if your going to replace the left seal. Knocking out the right outboard seal is not that hard with a long rod or pipe, getting the new seal in.......hard. Check this out - for replacing the seals- http://www.madxj.com/MADXJ/technical/TECHNICAL.htm 5th toptic from the top of the page.
