Drahcir495 Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 I bought a transmission with a NP242 transfercase so I could have a backup 242 to rebuild. I was told it was from an 1990 XJ so I never looked at it until now. It is a 23 spline case . Does anyone have just the 21 spline input shaft they want to sell or trade for my 23 spline version?
mvusse Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 I do not believe any 242 ever came with a 21 spline input. IIRC the 87-90 4.0 XJ Select Trac used s different transfer case. But my memory has failed me before...
