A Jeep Comanche for the Army; the Chinese army

I was just doing to reading on the history of AMC and I can across this article.  That is defiantly a Jeep Comanche pictures on the left of the photo.  I was just curious if anyone else has any links or knows anything about this?  I mean heck I wonder if somewhere in China there’s just Comanche parts sitting around or even the actual trucks, who knows?  Just thought this was very interesting.

No actual trucks. The article says they built one prototype.

Ahh yes, I guess they were just imported.  Haha but can you see where I was going with this?  I was like wait a sec...dang that would be awesome if there were just a whole crap ton of manche parts and trucks sitting around in China.

Not "they were just imported." "It" (as in the only one) was imported.

I’m tracking now, they just produced the 212.  I wonder what ever happened to that single commanche?
