Katalyzt13
I'm trying to figure out what is causing a fairly extreme symptom in my truck. I've just finished putting a rebuilt engine in there, but still have some issues. For the record, I had been driving my truck with bad rings and other engine problems for quite a while before putting a new engine in, so I assumed a lot of symptoms were related. I had to put new injectors in my truck before the rebuild and had put some of those cheap plastic bodied injectors in there before. Now, my truck seems to have problems with acceleration and deceleration. It runs really rough when accelerating or decelerating, it has backfired a few times when decelerating but it runs fine when I'm maintaining a speed. My working theory is that it is either the injectors or else I need to replace my distributor. Does anybody have any experience or info that would help me?
