Vadien Posted October 7, 2017 Share Posted October 7, 2017 I have a 89 2wd MJ with no transmission and a blown head gasket and also have a 96 ZJ 4wd 4.0 and was wondering if it was possible to swap pretty much everything over to the MJ (Front diff, engine, trans, transfer, all electronics). Pete M Posted October 9, 2017 Share Posted October 9, 2017 well, anything is possible I guess. there will be a lot of customization that isn't in an XJ swap since the ZJ is all different in where stuff mounts and where wires run. not even sure about trying to get the gauge cluster and dash stuff working. seats have been done though.
