Swampy
Hey guys I'm looking for a dana 44 out of an mj, 8.25 out of an xj, or an 8.8 out of a ranger or explorer. Mainly looking for a rear axle thats ready to go into the back of an mj. I know some of you have done axle swaps and may have something laying around. Mainly looking in the South Florida region (from Orlando south) but maybe we can work something out with shipping Thanks
Pete M
just to add one more to your list, my '06 Liberty has an 8.25 that is a couple inches wider than an MJ axle and disk brakes  there will be more bracketry to cut off (has a 3 link on it), but it doesn't look all that bad. just be sure to snag the bolt-on ujoint flange with the axle. no, it's not for sale (as my Libby still has need of it :D ), but car-part.com might be able to find another in a junkyard near you. Pete M
there's a part number change 02-04 and 05-06. don't know what it means (usually nothing), but if you find an early one, double check the width. 4.10s are available on the early years of 4bangers  (though they probably don't have disks)
