dante2
I got the Dana 30 installed a couple of weeks ago and went together after some help from here with the LCA's. I put in new shocks and GC coils to get a couple inches to level the truck. I do have some noise going over bumps or dips coming from the front.end. Is it possible to have the lower end of the coil in the wrong position or are MJ's just noisy by nature? Possibly another issue? Hard to tell in the pic but the end of the coil is touching the back of the steering knuckle. https://www.dropbox.com/s/8my458ag2mo8270/IMG_20170711_153308_550.jpg?dl=
WyoCherokee
Did you use the rear coils?? The coils should fit directly on the coil pad. There is a little indent on the coil pad that the end of the spring slides up against t keep it from spinning. Front ZJ coils will give you about 1.5" of lift over stock XJ/MJ coils
HOrnbrod
The lower coil wrap should fit in the lower bucket indented slot like the below pic on both sides (180* out), and the clips (not shown in the pic I stole) should be tight and secure. Also make sure the upper spring isolators are in good shape.
