DirtyDeeds
ok guys here's my question, can the renix system run without a iac? if so ho well? I'm asking because in the next month or so I'm putting a eaton m90 supercharger in my mj and I'm having trouble finding a aftermarket throttle body that has both tps and iac. the only ones ive found are 92-102mm which is a lil big. i know itll work with a 92mm because nomatter what the supercharger won't suck more than its going to suck but i was looking for more of a 68-75mm throttle body, but i can't find one that has a iac port... any suggestions? DirtyComanche
It can run without it. Not properly though. This: http://www.cherokeetalk.com/forum/f64/throttle-body-swap-renix-70mm-6236/ It could be done a bit cleaner regarding the actual adapter plate, but all in all he did a pretty decent job of it. DirtyComanche
Also that 4.3 TB would probably adapt easier to the HO intake. I'd probably go to the HO intake, fuel rail, regulator, and head myself. The last design of intake (equal runners, 99+ I think) is supposed to make more power, but I did see a dyno chart where they actually lost power with that intake...
