92 MJ on eBay

Recommended Posts

Looks like a really clean, stock (except for the wheels & tires) Comanche.  I contacted him about rust and he said that there was a little under the passenger floorboard that had been treated and some surface rust on the front end that had been treated.  $8K seems a little high for a price, but there is the supply and demand factor.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Here's where the original wheels went:

It was an Ohio vehicle until 2010. It has had body work and a new paint job. Unless I could personally crawl all over it with a magnet I wouldn't pull the trigger.

I like THIS one better.

The seller of the 91 has done a much better job of presenting his Comanche than the seller of the 92 Comanche and it is reflected in the number of bids placed.

IMHO, the 92 will not sell at all.  Price is too high for both the truck and for the wheels. Very similar to the 92 in Canada asking $9700 U.S.  Both fishermen looking for the big one with not real great presentation.

The 91 likely will get close to $5K.

Key factor here:  I am not in the market.

Was also worried about the rust issue on that 91

I live in Ohio.....and there is no way an Ohio Comanche will be rust free, unless it was only driven during the summer and put away for winters.  I looked for 2 years and finally bought one out of Denver CO and another out of Northern LA.  Both original paint so eyeballing them for rust was easy
