jimoshel Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Does anybody know what the Champion RV17YC fits? I have it beside the regular plug but everybody says no. Trying to put it into a 76 171. The plug is identical but there's no thing to say it will fit.
HOrnbrod Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 From their web page: Applications of Champion RV17YC: BUICK, All V8 Engine, 1971-1974 CHEVROLET, All In-Line 6 Cyl Eng, 1976-1979 CHEVROLET, All V8 Eng, 1971-1973 Looks like they recommend the RV12YC; Gap .044; for your new 86 2.8 V6, if that's what you are asking about. The RV17YC would be too hot of a plug I think.
jimoshel Posted September 1, 2016 Author Posted September 1, 2016 Back in the 70's I had a garage and service station. When I sold them the new guy didn't want any of my inventory. 'I'm still trying to sell some of the old inventory.
