getting ready to pick up a set of seats to replace the el cheapo pep boys plastic crap that came in my truck. i already have crow 4 point harnesses and plan to ad a sub belt as well. my budget isnt going to allow for fancy reclining seats, so I'm shooting for fixed backs,hoping to come in under $600ish. as for mounting it will all be custom

 

I'm looking for some opinions as I'm undecided on which brand. I'm torn between the: 

 

mastercraft original

prp premier OR the fixed daily driver  

corbeau baja ultra.

 

i like these seats because they all have dual slots in the headrest, and really like how much color customization you can do with the prp's...

 

anyone run any of these?

I have a pair of Grand Cherokee seats in my MJ.  They are more comfortable than the MJ/XJ buckets and have a tilt adjustment built into the seats.  Used the tilt mechanism from 95 XJ 2 door seats to convert the GC seats into tilt forward seats, so my seats now tilt forward and backwards as needed. 

 

Best part is they cost me WAY less than the $600 you plan to spend on seats.  And there are tons of Grand Cherokees in the junk yards - you can get power seats if you want that also for the same money.  Just takes some effort to wire them in to your MJ.  There are also several write ups in the DIY section with all the information you will need on this conversion.
