ParadiseMJ
Yep, I think I got it figured out, maybe. The vacuum switch under the hood has two wires, One is yellow and gray, that one goes into a Y (two yellow/black wires) then into the harness. The other is black with a with a white stripe, it seems to be a ground as it doesn't really GO anywhere but loops around and ends at the mount. I have the old pigtail, but only the t-case half. So if I splice the yellow/gray one to the A terminal and ground the B terminal, and plug it in...will it work??
cruiser54
Look on the side of the trans and see if there's a deadended 2 wire connector, which if it were about a foot longer would plug into the switch on the transfer case.
ParadiseMJ
Yes, there is, but doesn't that just go to the TCU, or ECU through the main (Renix) harness. I was looking to just make that connection but I realized I might be able to just connect that to the Renix wiring and have it light up...just thinkin' outloud
cruiser54
Nah. Key on, jump the connectors. Part Time light on?
HOrnbrod
Nah. Key on, jump the connectors. Part Time light on? Turn the key on, jump then see what happens w/o doing any continuity checks first. Good advice........
