MiamiMJ Posted May 30, 2016 Share Posted May 30, 2016 The engine starts. Then, like clockwork, dies after about 5-10 seconds. Since I started it last, I changed the brake booster, air box, evap canister, pos/neg battery cables, refreshed grounds, and washed the engine bay (I was worried about doing this, but it was filthy). 87MJTIM Posted May 30, 2016 Share Posted May 30, 2016 Sounds like the fuel pump. Check the ballast resistor (driver's side fender). Bypass it by connecting the two wire together.
