sinkrun Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Got a great deal on Brembo rotors from ebay on a closeout for the 01 Cherokee. It does not look like brembo sells pads for the Cherokee anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions on what pads to run with these for best results. I always wanted to try Brembos tired of the junk rotors warping these were not much more than cheap china rotors so I am hoping for the best.
benjy_26 Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 EBC Yellowstuff pads would be my choice for an aggressive street set up.
sinkrun Posted April 25, 2016 Author Posted April 25, 2016 Was just looking the rotors over and f`ing made in china also, had I known that I would have just bought another junk set at advaced again!
Tykerp Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 I got tired of warping rotors to. I did try the new gold rotors from autozone. They have a much higher carbon content to avoid warping and so far working. They have been on for a little while now. I was just warranty swapping rotors all the time. They also come with a coating on them that keeps the rest of the rotor from rusting or seizing to wheels/hubs. Been happy so far for the price. I will keep you updated as time goes on.
benjy_26 Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 I had EBC rotors and pads on my big, heavy, aggressively driven ZJ and they never warped.
