Nacho88
I've got a '88' MJ with a 8.8 in the rear and the PO did not install shock mounts and I'm wanting to install some. This being said is it best to weld them on the front or rear side of the axle ? Ive seen numerous pics of either one on the front and one on the rear or both front or both rear. any info would be greatly appreciated
Megadan
Factory shock location was dependent on being a long bed or short bed. My long bed has the shocks on the front side of the axle from the factory

onlyinajeep726
Long bed has shocks front side of axle, short bed is rear side of axle. Did the PO set up the axle spring under like factory or spring over?
