Are headers long tube or short tube? Tube diameter? If your ignition iisystem is not in top shape, headers will not help at all. Because headers tend to do more at the high rpm range. Want a bit more power from a stock Renix truck? See Cruiser54's renix tips. One of them is to use a 1990 ecm.
