1992EliminatorSWB4x4
How do you remove the valve cover ccv fitting and grommet on the rear of the valve cover ? I can not find the pictures that were on here recently about prying them out. I did search many threads already. My 1992 valve cover is Aluminum. Thanks. gogmorgo
I'd have to check to be certain which is which, but my '91 and '93, one popped out like the plug in the bottom of a piggy bank, and the other needed spun to line up tabs and holes. 1992EliminatorSWB4x4
Well the ccv does pop out on a 1992 Comanche, but I wound up breaking it off, took the valve cover off to get remainder of CCV out by wiggling out the broken piece with long nose vise grips on workbench , new CCV popped back in easily. Lessons learned today. There is a 1/16 inch or so thin ridge that bulges out on the bottom of CCV.
gogmorgo
Yeah, I think I remember prying it out with a sturdy screwdriver, now that you mention it.
