converting my 87mj to 4wd , speedo question

ok  i'm about to start converting my truck from 2wd to 4wd , what i have is the 2wd trans in it now i'm putting a ax-15 with np231 tc i'm wondering if i can use the current speedo cable and attachments from the 10/5 and put them into the 231 tc that currently has a eletric plug for the speedometer ? it looks like it could swap but i'm not sure . any help would be appreciated , also i already know that i'm going to have to change the speedo gear for the tire size etc.. and if you have parts list that i would need to keep the speedo mechanical . any ways thanks .

should be plug and play! or in this case cable and play... I did the exact opposite, I used a renix mechanical tcase on my electric speedo and it works flawlessly
