Oizarod115 Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 was over on NAXJA and read this: did you notice a REALLY rich mixture (black soot in the exhaust pipe) ?I can see it lacking power from a bad CTS, but it would be the first time it was not accompanied by SUPER rich mixture. I would assume there were no mosquitoes in your town if it was the only cause! --Shorty is that what black soot in the exhaust would indicate? doesn't a rich mixture tend to make the jeep run on the hot side?

I have never heard this brought up but i know bine is broke right now and I'm running rich after it warms up and this could be a cause but I'm not real sure. Not really any help to you but I'm interested to know this also. Cole
