Speenie
I've always been a fan of Jeep Comanches. I recently sold the Cherokee I had for a few months and found a 1988 Comanche Pioneer LWB I couldn't resist (for less than I sold the Cherokee for). Found it on Craigslist, guy selling it was a nice gentleman that told me he got it from an old man that was apparently the original owner and used it for mostly farm use. It was listed for $2000, inline 6, 4x4, automatic with 239k on the odometer. However, you can tell me if the motor looks like 200,000+ miled ;) This thing is literally about 99% rust free. Frame is clean completely, rocker panels are fine, under doors are good, even the leaf springs. The rust pictured is on a shotty repair job to the door striker. It works how it is though, so I'm fine with it for the time being. After I met up and drove it around his yard (no tags/insurance) and little bit of haggling and talking, I ended up getting it for $1600. I'd like to think I got a pretty good deal. HOWEVER, once I got back home to take it off the trailer, it wouldn't run but it would turn over and die. I had a long day driving to get it, (180 miles from me) and didn't feel like messing with it yet. But this is my new toy :D
