Long story long

I have a 87 MJ I6 Auto 2wd

I love this truck, I bought it two years ago for 500 no problems until about two weeks ago.

I left work started ran fine and drove home. The next morning tried to start it cranked but no start, I've had this problem before switched the fuel pump relays around and started up. Didn't work this time, checked spark no spark changed coil still no start. Checked cps read 2.0v replaced that still no start. Cleaned c101 connector, upgraded grounds, tested and cleaned every sensor still nothing. So replaced cpu started right up. The only problem now is it dies when I come to a stop, only when it's been running for maybe a couple minutes. Once it warms up I have no problems. The engine idles fine, can anyone please help me out

Well since it idles fine then to me that says there is not any vacuum leaks. But I would check for any of those anyways.

Adjust your TPS sensor correctly?

Is the fuse for your TCU (transmission control unit) blown? You can find your TCU under the passenger side dash. This may be a transmission thing but not sure.
