Tanner
nice to see another 1990 pioneer longbed. only 5,500 comanches made in 1990 Is that total? I had heard a number thrown around that there were 2,000 made in fl that year but I don't know what the validity of that is
Tanner
Got some help from a buddy of mine and got to reinstalling the motor and tranny. All finished ready for start up. Clutch fan on backwards haha ^ that's what happens when you rush and don't pay attention to what you're doing.
Tanner
Got the truck started yesterday, however I hit a snag... My reman PS pump was no good. I cranked the truck and it ran great for about 30 seconds before the pump started squealing like a stuck pig. Then about 10 seconds after that blew off the return line and coated me the side of my house and the whole drivers side engine bay in ps fluid. Not the most fun in the world. Got another on the way, will be in tomorrow morning.

Tanner
alright so again it has been some time since I posted so here are some updates. Once everything was all back together I went to charge up my A/C... all important here in FL. Unfortunately one of my fittings was either bad or had a blockage. So I ordered new fittings that charge from the rear instead of the retarded side ported fittings and got it all worked out. Blows nice and cold, just not enough air volume so now I'm entertaining a relay in the circuit, but I digress. Now I'm starting to tackle my suspension issues, first thing I'm taking care of is ball joints, and while I was in there I figured why not replace the wheel bearings. I decided to give MEVOTECH ball joints a shot, these are their premium line. So I guess I'll find out.
