Hick Posted June 5, 2015 Share Posted June 5, 2015 So I'm putting my flywheel back in and looked up the torque spec and it says 50 ft lbs then another 60 degrees. Maybe it's just me, but that seems pretty ghetto for a torque spec. Is there an actual torque? Because 60° on top of the 50 ft lbs seems almost impossible without snapping the head off. Not always, GM has a few applications from the factory that specify degrees. In fact, the 60 degree V6 rocker arm torque spec is 89in-lbs + 30 degrees.
