1988 mj pioneer 4.0 5 speed. Just did the serpintine belt and came across an issue... I noticed that 2 of the bolts on the power steering pump were missing. The long one that is supposed to be a tensioner and the lower of the 2 in the back? Could someone please tell me what size bolts these are? And any way I could tension the belt while I wait to get new bolts.

Was going to the junkyard anyways today so I grabbed one of the collars and bolts got home and took mine apart turns out it had the collar the bolt was just broken off. Switched em out went to tighten it down and I think the junkyard one split. I'll find out tomorrow if I can get the broken bolt out of the other one hopefully I can or back to the junkyard I guess

Yep, that's about all you will find at the yard. High failure consumables....

Up until recently the junkyard I go to had a pretty good stock of early to mid 90s Xjs. Most that are left either have had the engine or power steering pump pulled already I think there might have been one maybe 2 others left there? But hopefully I can get the bolt out of the original one so I can have tension on the belt

Hornbrod thanks for the info.

Tried ordering another collar from zmjeep and it said couldn't ship items in cart for some reason.
