Jaxso32 Posted March 16, 2015 Share Posted March 16, 2015 1988 mj pioneer 4.0 5 speed. Just did the serpintine belt and came across an issue... I noticed that 2 of the bolts on the power steering pump were missing. The long one that is supposed to be a tensioner and the lower of the 2 in the back? HOrnbrod Posted March 17, 2015 Share Posted March 17, 2015 The long adjuster bolt is M8x1.25x120mm, NLA from the dealer. McMaster-Carr does carry it though. Fastenal might also. If the adjuster bolt is missing you will probably need the collar nut it screws into also. Part number 53002915. Jaxso32 Posted March 17, 2015 Author Share Posted March 17, 2015 Was going to the junkyard anyways today so I grabbed one of the collars and bolts got home and took mine apart turns out it had the collar the bolt was just broken off. Switched em out went to tighten it down and I think the junkyard one split. Most that are left either have had the engine or power steering pump pulled already I think there might have been one maybe 2 others left there?
