87manche
that's this http://www.rocky-road.com/comanche.html That's an MJ on this site, search for XJblue as the poster. You will find more info. My only issue with that kit is that at 5" you really need control arms. if you look at this side view you can see that the front axle is pulled towards the rear of the truck. That will also affect your pinion and caster angles on the front axle. Something to think about. I'd buy the kit, OME is real good stuff, then get adjust control arms, a drop bracket, or go long arms. I think that you also have to consider the steering geometry at that height. Personally I'm lifting the MJ 3", which is the highest I feel I can go without changing the steering. Even then I plan on getting new LCAs. When I get inchitis and need to go 5 or 6 inches I'm going to look into long arms. Maybe the TNT setup with the arms in the bely pan/crossmember. Sorry for the long post, just my thoughts. pingpong
I don't go to Rusty's site, but I know you can get a set Of Alcans, or Deavers for just under 400 plus shipping, and the springs are made to your specs, not some generic cookie cutter spec. Eagle
I have just received a 88 MJ Body is in perfect shape (no rust). Looking to put 2-3in lift for 31's. Any sugest... You do not need a lift to run 31s on a Comanche if you stay with factory rims.
