Knucklehead97 Posted September 6, 2014 Share Posted September 6, 2014 I just did the open cooling system swap and I have to say I'm more than pleased with it. It only cost me about $150 to swap everything except the water pump and my truck runs at the right temps (Have only had it idling. Haven't taken it on the road due to stalling out issues. At idle on a 90-100 degree day it takes 15 minutes to turn on the fan.) Also I got an aftermarket radiator that had the AUX fan switch bung on it so there is no need to rewire the AUX fan.
