thejim42 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Anyone got one? I have an 88 4.0 swb. My needle on the fuel gauge is now horizontal after hitting a series of bumps and then driving up the steep incline if my driveway.
johnj92131 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Why not take it out and see about repairing it? Most senders are just a variable resistor, make sure the contact is good in the tank. Use a Volt Ohmn meter to check the resistance as you move the float thru its range of motion.
