Ax4 clutch

Ok so I just put a new clutch in my jeep but now when I bleed it it goes from soft to very very stiff towards the end of the travel, do I just need to keep bleeding it to get it as stiff as possible?

What year is your truck? Is it internal or external slave?

I found out something interesting today. Apparently there are two different thicknesses for the throwout bearing. Make sure its The right thickness

The truck is a 86 with external slave

Do you have the original throwout bearing?

yes i compared the two and the new one is the correct one. But i did realize after bleeding the clutch for a good while that the pedal is like stuck down a little bit and won't release all the way up even if pulled on

Where is it in relationship to the brake pedal?

any ideas on how to connect the push rod on the clutch master to the pedal?

Can you not get it on the little dowel on the pedal.

I used a some emmry paper to polish the hole and the dowel, put a little bit of oil on them and used a c-clamp to pop it on
