Ok I'm not sure if your supposed to ask questions here but I'm trying everywhere I can for help. I had a very bad leaking oil sending unit so I took it off and plugged it. Then did and oil change but now it won't start. Just got a new unit still won't start and it says my pressure is at 0. Anyone got ideas? Any help greatly appreciated

This is the place for questions. This one I cannot answer. Knowing the engine/year/etc... will help you get an answer from someone who does. I do know that some computer controlled engines will not fire until there is oil pressure being read.

Your oil pressure is reading at 0 because you removed the sending unit. I'd bet if you put a new one in there she'd start right up.

OP, you installed a new sender, si? First, where did you get the new sender and what's the part number, and second, did you connect the output wire to the new sender?

Yea I got a new sender from auto parts I started doing tests to narrow it down an it led to the starter I pulled it off and bought a new one running perfect now I guess the oil change might've just been coincidental
