I was getting an intermittent start condition on my 1988 MJ. I had checked most of the wiring, and all of that looks good. I was going through checking my fuel injectors to make sure none of them are clogged when one of the yellow O-Rings decided to jump in to the fuel injector port. Do I need to Remove the Cylinder head to get this out or is there an easier way?

This happened to me once. Got it out using a muti-strand flexible 18 gauge wire with a small blob of grease on the end. Dabbed it around inside, caught the o-ring, and fished it out through the port hole using a curved dental pick. Was lucky I guess...........

Yeah personally, I'd put a breathable 'catcher' - sock, cloth, or mesh - on the business end of a vacuum and try to suck it out. Then, it'll end up in the 'catcher' bowl.

Thanks for the tips, I ended up just taking off the intake manifold and thankfully the valve was closed and the o-ring was sitting right there
