boardmanMJ Posted April 3, 2014 Share Posted April 3, 2014 The turn signal lever broke off inside the column. Long story short I replaced the whole combination switch and now the key doesn't work. I changed the ignition switch on the column but now the gears inside the column where the tumbler inserts are off. The one is tilted horrifically to the left. Dando Posted April 3, 2014 Share Posted April 3, 2014 I had this same problem awhile back when trying to fix my old column, I'm really not sure what caused this or how exactly it was fixed. In frustration I uninstalled everything and then just reinstalled it and got it right the second time. I know that isn't much help but I'm sure removing the ignition switch and trying again will solve your problem, wish I knew why though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
