This Cube is an Oceanic Biocube. I bought it a few years ago for 70 bucks but it was in bad shape.

I hooked up some new lights, cleaned the rocks he gave me and used the sand he already had in there (regret) and i was off.

I have spent easily over $1500 on this tank over time.

Fish tanks are deffinatly not a walk in the park. It takes a lot of research and $$$ trial and error $$$$

Between water chemistry, bioloads, filtration, feeding, lighting, circulation, cleaning, i sometimes feel like a scientist!

Yea, It is spread out over the period of a few years.. but it adds up.

I would recomend a tank very similar to this one.

The all in one tanks are the easiest to maintain and there is no thinking involved in the set up.. its all done for you.

Just add some water and fish and your done

Thanks! No one really ever gets to see this thing so I'm glad someone can appreciate it... its just in the corner of my room hiding from all the windows.

I used to have a 55 gallon fresh with 2 Oscar in it.. they were a lot of fun.. but a giant mess. I would feed them crickets and gold fish (along with whatever else I felt like feeding them.. lizards, roaches, you fill in the blanks) and they just pooped more than I could clean.

I also had an eel in there which was a pain in the rear as well..

(fish tanks are my kryptonite)
